PROCESS

Overall lead time varies depending on the time of year, but typically we schedule manufacturing and installation 8 to 10 months out. Once a commitment deposit is received for your project, we can secure a spot for your project into our schedule.

Once all drawings, materials, colours, etc have been finalized, manufacturing production is anywhere from 4-8 weeks from sign-off. Because everything we build is unique for each customer, we require this time for ordering material, manufacturing, finishing and building.

Of course! We do our best to fit the small jobs between the big jobs. However, there are times where our schedule is tightly booked, so lead times for small projects may be similar to larger projects.

We do not do any refacing, refinishing or modification of existing cabinetry – there are a lot of other great companies that specialize in this.

PREPARATIONS

No, we can do that for you! We have a whole team of Designers and Drafters to assist you in creating the perfect space for your unique needs. In cases where blueprints are not available, our first step will be to take measurements of your space before your first Design Centre meeting.

Yes, but we will need to still draw up plans using our software in order to ensure that the drawings meet our specific manufacturing needs. Our plans are usually much more detailed than those done by an architect or designer.

This depends on the size and scope of your project.

For larger projects, a good designer can be an asset in ensuring that the entire scope of your project reaches its full potential.
However, we are more than happy to help you design your space – we have an in-house design team who can help you throughout your project (and it’s not an added fee to utilize this service). Our designers specialize in space planning, material and finish selections and colour design. For our many clients who do not have a designer working with them, it is a natural part of our planning process to help you create a space that is not only designed beautifully but also functions optimally for your unique needs.

That’s fine, although we encourage you or your designer to reach out and get us involved early on in the process.

COST

The initial site measure, design and estimate are provided at no obligation. Should you wish to proceed with design edits, a commitment deposit is required and the editing and estimation process will continue until you are 100% happy with your design. As the price will vary with material selections, construction methods, and other factors, the finalization of your project’s price will be locked in at final sign-off, which occurs 6-12 weeks prior to the scheduled installation.

That is nearly an impossible question to answer as there are so many variables attached to each and every project. We respect all budgetary parameters and will work with you to give you the absolute best options for your price range.

Unless working with a pre-approved contractor, payment terms are as follows:

  • Commitment deposit of $1,000.00
  • 45% deposit for order processing
  • 45% due before delivery
  • 10% due upon completion

Supply only projects require a 50% deposit with the balance due prior to pick-up or delivery.

  • Cash
  • Cheque
  • Bank Draft
  • E-transfer
  • Debit
  • Credit*

*3% surcharge applied to credit card payments

DELIVERY + INSTALLATION

This varies depending on the size and complexity of the project.

If possible, we recommend that appliances be delivered after the installation of your cabinetry (with the exception of in-counter cooktops – these need to be on-site for templating). If you do have appliances on-site, we ask that they be moved away from the installation area, ideally in an adjacent room, away from the potential workspace.
